The new academic series presents papers in German Studies including literary studies, modern history and the arts. The main focus of the series is on critical studies which examine how German history and culture are represented in literature and the 'media' (e. g. cinema and theatre). The anthologies and monographs in the series combine the rigorous method and objectiveness of academic excellence with open-mindedness to new paradigms of cultural history. All titles are in English. The editors responsible for the content of the series are all renowned professors of German and History at US liberal arts colleges. Three new titles will be published annually.
