Biography
Bernard McGinn has degrees in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and in Medieval Intellectual History from Brandeis University. He taught Historical Theology and the History of Christianity at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago for thirty-four years. Among his major interests are the history of apocalyptic traditions and the history of Christian spirituality and mysticism.
