Biography
the author of ten monographs and forty edited volumes on Jewish thought and intellectual history. He is presently the director of The Franz Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History, at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and concurrently holds a chair modern Jewish thought at the Divinity School, The University of Chicago.
