The De Gruyter e-dition makes over 60,000 high-quality titles available from De Gruyter’s more than 260-year publishing history. Each title is available both as electronic version (exclusively for libraries and institutions) and as a hardcover reprint. If retro-digitization is required, the desired title can be delivered within a maximum of ten weeks. Orders can be made starting mid-March 2010.

For purchases of more than 50 eBooks we grant a 10% discount on the total list price.
As an alternative, you can benefit from our "best of" recommendations from expert scholars, who recommend their personal list of top-titles from De Gruyter’s backlist in their fields. These titles are also available as packages starting in mid-March. "Best of" Packages can be purchased at a special price offering a 15% discount on the list price of all titles included.
Modern technology for all content
At De Gruyter, even titles from 1749 are available at today’s state of the art. All eBooks are searchable in full text and indexed, and provide DOIs and MARC records. The long-term archiving is carried out via Portico.
PoD titles are offered in high resolution and as hardcovers. They are finished uniformly with a green cover reminiscent of the historic Göschen cover.
Fair conditions for all involved
Libraries acquire De Gruyter’s eBooks as a purchasing model. All eBooks can be used simultaneously without a time limit by an unlimited number of library users.
If the works at issue are by living authors, they will receive the standard publisher’s fee.
De Gruyter’s e-dition will also be available through our sales partners such as Libreka and Harrassowitz.
