Educating and encouraging young talent are key activities at De Gruyter.

In our volunteer program for future editors, you will be taught all of the fundamentals, including work processes and techniques. In addition, you will have a chance to obtain a holistic and interdisciplinary overview of De Gruyter’s many fields of activity. In addition to work shadowing opportunities, excursions will form part of your one-year training. Last but not least, young trainees at De Gruyter have chance to interact at informal roundtables.

As an intern you can apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in your studies in practice during a three to six-month internship. As an intern you will also be able to take part in the programs scheduled for volunteers.
