Aims & Scope
Journal of Laboratory Medicine (JLM) reports on the latest developments in the various disciplines of laboratory medicine. Particular focus is placed on the assessment of diagnostic and clinical reference values and the evaluation of trends and limits. With an internationally renowned group of authors at hand, the journal specialises in the publication of high-standard review articles on clinical, methodological and pathogenic aspects of modern laboratory diagnostics. These reviews are critically reviewed by JLM`s associate editors who are specialists in the various subdisciplines of laboratory medicine. In addition, JLM continues to publish original research articles, case reports and letters to the editor, all of which are peer reviewed by at least two experts in the field.
Audience
Worldwide, JLM addresses clinicians, research scientists and technicians who work in medical diagnostic institutions or the in vitro diagnostics industry, as well as practicians who are interested in laboratory diagnostics.

Chemical, microbiological and microscopic analysis of body fluids for the diagnosis, therapy control and research of origins of diseases.
