Mouton d'Or Award
Mouton d'Or 2008
Mouton de Gruyter is pleased to announce the continuation of our annual prize — the Mouton d'Or — to be awarded by an independent jury of international distinguished semioticians for the best article published in Semiotica in each calendar year. The prize will consist of a free subscription to Semiotica for three years. The jury for the 2008 Mouton d'Or consists of:
Myrdene Anderson, U.S.A. (2008), Chair
Augusto Ponzio, Italy (2008–2009)
Frederik Stjernfelt, Denmark (2008–2010)
Mouton de Gruyter hopes that the creation of this prize will act as a stimulus for further advances in semiotics and invites all those working in this exciting and challenging field to submit their contributions to Semiotica.
The winner of the 2008 Mouton d'Or will be announced in an early 2009 issue.
