Artificial Satellites is a journal of planetary geodesy, affiliated to the Space Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences. It offers a forum for scientific publications on such aspects of geodesy and geodynamics as positioning, satellite geodesy, gravity field, geoid and heights, tides, reference frames, Earth rotation. We accept original papers of fundamental nature, i.e. concerning new ideas, theories and processing means, as well as those dealing with new applications of the existing methods and technologies.
Aims and Scope
Why subscribe and read
Artificial Satellites is the only scientific Journal in Poland which presents investigations of Earth’s gravity field, shape, tides and rotation using measurements of geodetic satellites and ground measurements. It contains contributions of many well-known authors from many countries.
Why submit
Fast process of publication because there is usually only one reviewer for each submitted paper. Journal is available on many scientific libraries: i.e. Paris, Washington DC, Moscow, Graz, as well as in all scientific institutes with similar profile of research.
