Abstract

The phenolic glucoside cis-2-hydroxycyclohexyl 6-O-p-coumaroyl-β-d-glucopyranoside was isolated from the bark of the hybrid poplar Populus alba×glandulosa by column chromatography over Sephadex LH-20 and Silica gel preparative TLC. The structure elucidation was performed by NMR spectroscopy (2D NMR COSY, DEPT, HMQC, and HMBC) and MS spectrometry.
