Aims and Scope
Why subscribe and read
Human Movement (formerly Człowiek i Ruch) published jointly by University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw, University School of Physical Education in Poznan and University School of Physical Education in Cracow. The journal presents the views of all scientific disciplines dealing with human beings in movement in a broad sense of the term: physical education, recreation, physiotherapy, health and fitness, and sport science.
Why submit
The Human Movement journal has been developing dynamically in the recent years and has been awarded with growing credit from the scientific environment. The form of the journal shows significant involvement of the members of the Editorial Board in the process of its creation. The interdisciplinary composition of the Editorial Board enables the journal to accept manuscripts of varied scientific origins. The factual support and friendly attitude of the continuously growing group of reviewers should also be underlined. Thorough and reliable reviews guarantee a high factual level of manuscripts accepted for publishing.
The multidisciplinary character of the published manuscripts makes Human Movement the only journal on physical culture that takes into consideration the holistic dimension of human activity. Therefore, we are interested in publishing the results of scientific studies on humanistic, social and biological determinants of human activity and behavior. The manuscripts having the heterotelic and autotelic human activity at the scope of interest and also those that investigate the process of stimulation of human development through locomotor activation: recreational, sport, physical education and rehabilitation – are all welcome.
