Aims and Scope
As the journal´s name implies, Innovative Neurosurgery explicitly focuses on the innovative character of neurosurgical diagnostics and therapy.
Minimally-invasive techniques, neuroendoscopy, endovascular techniques, functional neurosurgery, radiosurgery, computer-assisted techniques and robotics are the main methodological fields of interest.
INS covers all aspects of central (cranial and spinal) as well as peripheral neural affections including oncology, angiopathy, injuries, infections, degenerations, hereditary neural diseases and malformations.
Contributions on innovative medical technology and instrumental engineering are very welcome as well. The same holds true for publications on neuro-anesthesiology/neuro-intensive care medicine as well as other related disciplines such as maxillo-facial surgery, ophthalmology, ENT-surgery, orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery.
Innovative Neurosurgery provides a basis as a didactical reference work by its special vocational training section on latest topics in the field together with regularly published review articles from renowned decision makers.
