Aims and Scope
PIK is the professional journal for the use of information systems, which aims to develop new strategies for information technologies in dialogue with industry and science, thereby providing users with the possibility of making realistic investments.
PIK addresses the practitioner and decisions-maker in business, science and industry. It deals with topics related to information processing and communications techniques such as telecommunications, video, databases, data-processing centres, online and Internet.
PIK is the only German-language journal systematically covering the increasingly important fields of super computers, parallel computers and high-output-workstations.
