ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Um Location-based Services auf mobilen Endgeräten einzusetzen, sind Informationen über die aktuelle Position eines Anwenders erforderlich. Das Global Positioning System (GPS) ist innerhalb von Gebäuden nicht zuverlässig einsetzbar, sodass neue Technologien zur Positionsbestimmung erforderlich sind. In diesem Artikel wird ein Überblick über Alternativen in Form von Wireless-LAN- oder Bluetooth-basierten Positionierungssystemen vorgestellt. Eine detaillierte Identifikation der Merkmale der unterschiedlichen Systeme soll helfen, Positionierungsverfahren anhand ihrer Eigenschaften einzuordnen.
