The Polish Journal of Entomology was founded in 1922 as a periodical of the Polish Entomological Society under the title Polskie Pismo Entomologiczne (subtitle Bulletin Entomologique de Pologne). The journal publishes original research papers and reviews from any entomological discipline.
Aims and Scope
Why subscribe and read
The journal contains descriptions of new taxa, systematic revisions, diagnoses, keys for identifications of insects, contributions to their ecology and geographical distribution.
Why submit
The journal is mailed to over a hundred institutions and libraries in Poland, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Japan, United States of America, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Morocco, Republic of South Africa.
We do our best to process submissions promptly, and to evaluate them strictly. All original research articles are carefully reviewed by at least two referees expert in the field of submitted paper. There are no restrictions regarding the subject, author, and geographic region. Articles have own DOI and access to full electronic version is free.
