Aims and Scope
This book addresses the issue of the origin of criminal violence and relates it to the current fears of threat in politics and society. Based on the theory developed by the interactionist American social-psychologist Lonnie Athens, the authors devote their efforts to all relevant literature. One section of this book includes interviews with violent criminals; films (“Dogville”, “Bowling for Columbine”) are also analyzed regarding the origin of violence.
