Der Frühparacelsismus / Teil 3
[Early Paracelsianism: Part 3]
Series:Frühe Neuzeit 170
Aims and Scope
In keeping with the first two volumes in this series, this third volume of the Corpus Paracelsisticum aims to make an innovative contribution to the cultural history of early modernity through its social, scientific, and literary historical content. Edited with commentary and, as necessary, offering a Latin translation, this volume includes 75 texts written between 1569 and 1613. The volume provides biographical sketches of the authors, intended readers, and individuals mentioned in the texts. As a whole, the featured texts provide an insightful picture of the final phase in early Paracelsianism, when it began to differentiate into various dominant epistemological positions, interests, and spiritual connections.
