This collection of case law presents the decisions of the participating Constitutional Courts of the Federal States uniform, in a clear way. The decisions of the constitutional courts of the Federal States merit particular attention, because the inter-connections between the German Basic Law and the Federal legislative order on the one hand and the Federal State Constitutions on the other hand are reflected within them. In this way they document an important aspect of German Federalism.
