Abstract
So lautete z.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract
Induction heating is widely used in industry for melting, metal heat treatment, quenching, surface hardening, tempering and also as a heating method in hot forming processes. In this paper, results of preparatory experiments of induction heating for the newly developed technology of rotary spin extrusion are presented. The measured temperatures during static and dynamic induction heating are compared with the results computed using the finite element code ANSYS. Parameters influencing the accuracy of the numerical solution are introduced and discussed.

Abstract

Abstract
Nanoadhesives of epoxy resin are synthesized and evaluated. It is organically modified by multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) (1% by weight) as reinforcement. Tensile tests are conducted on multiple identical unnotched and notched specimens to evaluate the overloading and fracture behavior of the nanoadhesives and are then compared with the neat epoxy resin. In comparison with the neat epoxy, it is found that the 1% MWCNT reinforcement increased the ultimate and residual strength by about 29 and 56%, respectively. In comparison with the neat resin, there is a 265% increase in the fracture toughness of the MWCNT adhesive. Fracture surface analysis revealed the various mechanisms by which the MWCNT adhesive acquire its superior strength and toughness in comparison with the neat resin.

Abstract

Modelling of Damage in Stress Concentration Zones under Low Cycle Fatigue*

Abstract
The primary objective of this investigation was to develop a method for low cycle fatigue lifetime prediction in stress concentration zones of components. It was assumed that crack appearance takes place when a critical amount of normalized global damage is reached. Modelling was performed of damage accumulation in stress concentration zones using a plastic strain-based approach. The total damage under low cycle loading at room temperature, consisting of cyclic damage and low cycle fatigue induced creep damage or ratcheting, was calculated employing a finite element method together with additional procedures. This paper presents calculated fields of cyclically accumulated plastic strain; calculated lifetime compared with experimental results; and accumulated plastic strain results calculated at the notch root together with experimental data.
