In 2018, University of California Press and De Gruyter entered a commercial partnership to celebrate the global distribution of 2,500 of the press’s eBook titles on degruyter.com. De Gruyter and the press share the communal mission of

spreading scholarly education surpassing boundaries using emerging technologies. The press primarily publishes works in disciplines of ancient world, anthropology, art, environmental studies, economics and 20 other convergent focused studies.
