Our Publisher Partners
Partnerships are central to everything we do at De Gruyter. We are equal partners in the work of the scholarly community and have forged partnerships with other 200 scientific communities and academics, as well as individual scholars. In addition, De Gruyter actively seeks strategic partnerships with
renowned publishing companies worldwide to help further broaden the dissemination of knowledge and promote discovery.
Since launching our Publisher Partner Program in 2012 with Harvard University Press, we have continued to expand the program globally and now have over 20 partners.
The Publisher Partner Archives houses previously unavailable digital archives of 12 renowned Academic Publishers from around the world, all digitized to pristine condition by De Gruyter.
Despite the wealth of intellect archives offers us, archives all around the world is going out of print because librarians no longer have the shelf space to store them. Consequently, hundreds of years’ worth of knowledge ceases to exist in the pages of history anymore. De Gruyter recognizes the contribution archives make to the historiography and advancement of sciences and humanities.
Beginning in 2012, De Gruyter has successfully digitized over 13,000 archives (with 10,000 more in the pipeline) of 12 Academic Publishers and has made previously out-of-print titles available once again without compromising on the quality of content for our patrons.
