The first Open Peer Review Book in Europe
The project historyblogosphere.org documents and reflects on both the history and continued relevance, on the current practice and future potential, of the scholarly history blogosphere.
It was generated through an open work process in a blog, a novelty in the German-speaking academic community, using the tools and technologies of the Internet and involving various communities through an open (albeit elaborate) collaboration process. That was, we envisioned an open peer review process over the Internet.
The resulting texts will be published at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2013 in a hybrid form, both digital and paperback, with Oldenbourg Academic Publishers.
