Under the theme of Global and Local Challenges in Food Science and Technology, we would like to invite all interested scientists, professionals, companies, governmental officials and professional associations working in the fields of food production, food processing, food quality and safety, nutrition, engineering and design, innovative technologies from Europe and all around the world to attend at this event.

After the very successful meetings in Sankt Petersburg in 2012, Kiev in 2013, and Brasov in 2015 NEEFood Congress comes for the first time in Lithuania. NEEFood 2017 offers us the opportunity to combine the beauty and hospitality of Kaunas city with some of the outstanding works done on the important topics of food science and technology, and to make easy contacts and relations among researchers from all around the world.



The authors are kindly invited to submit their contribution via online submission system Editorial Manager available at http://www.editorialmanager.com/opag/
It is important that authors include a cover letter with their manuscript with information that the manuscript is dedicated to the Special Issue on the the 4th North and East European Congress on Food (NEEFood 2017).

All articles should be submitted in English. All papers will go through the Open Agriculture high standards, quick and comprehensive peer-review procedure and will be published continuously.
Before submission the authors should carefully read over the Instruction for Authors.
