Jewish Studies

Jewish Studies at De Gruyter offer an interdisciplinary publishing program with a long tradition, integrating the best of our imprints Oldenbourg and Saur. We are mostly known for our reference works like the Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception or the Handbook of Israel, and well established, peer-reviewed series like the Studia Judaica and New Perspectives on Modern Jewish History. In 2016 we launched an open access series in cooperation with the Maimonides Centre for Advanced Studies dedicated to Jewish Philosophy and Scepticism. Currently, we are preparing the first volumes of a new series and an eJournal with the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Anti-Semitism (SICSA).
