Open Chemistry: Topical Issue on Agriculture

The topical issue will feature peer-reviewed research articles highlighting recent progresses in the development and application of different chemical solutions to improve the agricultural production. This includes all related studies on chemical technology: fertilizers, feed phosphates and other additives, agricultural chemistry, metabolism of nutrients in the soil and their assimilation by plants, the problem of phosphorus and nitrogen in the environment, ecotoxicology - selected issues, new methods and technologies of chemical products used in agriculture, the impact of chemicals on plant and animal production, heavy metals in agriculture, circulation of metals in the natural and agricultural environment waste disposal, environmental protection, biotechnology for agriculture. Special attention will be paid on the biobased chemicals, that over the past decade, have received significant attention as candidate resource materials in fertilizers and agrochemicals production due to their renewability. Substitution of conventional raw materials with biobased requires a new approach towards development of technology. Contributions in forms of research article, communications, and reviews are welcome.
