DESCRIPTION

3rd Biotechnology Summit 2016 (BS´16) was held on October 24-28, 2016 in Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora – ITSON (Cd. Obregón, state of Sonora, México). BS´16 was sponsored and organized by several Mexican and International biotechnology Institutes/organizations. The Summit contributed to the next developments in biotechnology, by bringing together professionals from all around the world.

The topics of the special issue include e.g. Agricultural Biotechnology, Nutritional Biotechnology, Marine (Aquatic) Biotechnology, Desert Biotechnology, Human Health and Disease, Gene-based Industrial Biotechnology, Bioterrorism, Patents, IPR, Bioinformatics, Classical Biotechnology (Fermentation), Bioethics, Biotechnology and Society, Synthetic Biology, Biobusiness, Bioentrepreneuship and Marketing, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
