OUR PARTNERSHIP

UHP LogoIn early 2017, The University of Hawai‘i Press and De Gruyter have formed a partnership for the worldwide sales of UHP’s electronic academic publications. This includes a wide selection of frontlist and backlist titles.

De Gruyter will also digitize UHP’s out-of-print archive, comprising approximately 1,400 titles over the next two years. The partnership will expand UHP’s international reach and strengthens De Gruyter’s portfolio with a range of outstanding academic publications, especially in Asian Studies.

Together with UHP’s and Asian Studies titles from De Gruyter as well as other publisher partners such as Yale University Press and Columbia University Press, De Gruyter will be able to offer a comprehensive collection of close to 3,000 titles.
