From the book Handbook of Digital Public History

  • Florentina Armaselu

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of how social media foster the application of public history and communication with the public, and what types of institutions, projects, and communities are involved in the process. Without claiming to be exhaustive or referring to a representative selection, the study is based on an exploration of seventy-three public history websites and the methods they use to engage audiences via social media.
