Abstract

In this paper, Drusus and, in particular, Germanicus are the key-figures to whom attention is offered through an in-depth examination of the historiographical works of the Early Imperial age. The text of the historiographical works by Seneca the Elder known through P.Herc. 1067 is analysed together with and in parallel whit what emerges from his Suasoriae and Controversiae in order to highlight the negative traits characterizing Germanicus, son of Antonia Minor.
