Slope stability of Fano fourfolds with respect to smooth surfaces

Abstract

Let (X,-KX) be a Fano fourfold and let S⊂X be a smooth surface. We show that (X,-KX) is slope semistable with respect to S if c1(NS|X) is a nontrivial and nef class.
