EOS Annual Meeting EOSAM 2016 in Berlin
Following the successful EOSAM 2 years ago, the European Optical Society (EOS) returns to Berlin from the 26th to the 30th September 2016, for the EOS Annual Meeting (EOSAM) in Adlershof. An honorary session on Tuesday includes the keynote presentation by Dr. Eric Betzig, one of the Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry in 2014 for ‘The development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy’. Dr. Betzig works on novel optical imaging tools in an effort to open new windows into molecular, cellular, and neurobiology. During the honorary session, we will also hear about the 25-year history of the EOS, presented by Anna Consortini. The EOS Fellows Ceremony and Award ceremonies precede the EOS annual general assembly (AGA), to which all EOS members are welcome to attend on Tuesday evening, 27 September.
