The papyrus P.Alex. Inv. 536 is here fully published for the first time. It contains the subscriptions for the sale of a female donkey. The buyer, Prosostilla, is known through the archive of Marcus Lucretius Diogenes (P.Diog. 44), thus dating this Fayyum document to the first part of the 3rd c. A.D. The donkey was held in joint ownership. . Interestingly all shares in the animal seem to be sold together to Prosostilla.
