Zusammenfassung
Dieser Artikel widmet sich der Erweiterung der Gesundheitskompetenz (GK) gemäß den wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen der Fachdisziplin Planetary Health. Es wird eine Konzeptualisierung von klimaspezifischer GK unter Aspekten des Wissens, der Betroffenheit und des Verhaltens vorgenommen. Eine klimasensible Gesundheitsberatung durch Gesundheitsfachkräfte kann klimaspezifische GK fördern und zu klimaschützendem und gesundheitsförderlichem Verhalten führen.
Abstract
This article addresses the expansion of health literacy according to the scientific research in the field planetary health. A conceptualization of climate-specific health literacy is provided, which contains aspects of knowledge, feeling of concern and behavior. Climate-specific medical advice of health professionals might increase climate-specific health literacy and climate-friendly and health-promoting behavior.
