Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag untersucht den vergleichsweise späten Beginn der französischen Rechtsanthropologie und schildert die gegenwärtige Lehr- und Forschungslage. Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei auf zwei Forschungsstätten, dem Laboratoire d’anthropologie juridique de Paris der Sorbonne und dem Centre „Droit et Cultures“ an der Universität von Paris in Nanterre. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeiten der beiden Forschungsstätten stehen die Universalität rechtlicher Normativität, die Vielgestaltigkeit und die Geschichtlichkeit des Rechts.
Summary
The paper examines the relatively late beginnings of modern French anthropology of law. It gives a picture of the current teaching situation and, in particular, it outlines the main features of recent and current research in French anthropology of law. Especially it looks at the role of two research centers, the Laboratoire d’anthropologie juridique de Paris of the Sorbonne and the Centre “Droit et Cultures” of the University of Paris in Nanterre. Both research centers focus on law as a feature of all cultures and societies, on the pluralism of law and its historical dimension.
