Synthesis of Novel Arylalkyl Sulfonate Surfactants

Abstract

A method of synthesizing novel arylalkyl sulfonates is introduced. Reaction conditions were assessed by the measurement of iodine value. Catalysts with little pollution were used in the study.

Kurzfassung

Es wird eine Synthesemethode zur Herstellung neuartiger Arylalkylsulfonate vorgestellt. Die Reaktionsbedingungen wurden mit Hilfe von Messungen der Jodzahl bewertet. In dieser Untersuchung wurden Katalysatoren, die die Umwelt gering belasten, eingesetzt.

Xu Zhigang was born in 1977. He is a PhD student at Dalian University of Technology. His main field of research is arylalkyl sulfonate surfactants and synthesis and physical chemistry of surfactants.

Zhao Yu was born in 1978. He is a PhD student at Dalian University of Technology. His main field of research is heavy alkylbenzene sulfonate and synthesis and physical chemistry of surfactants.

Yuan Bing was born in 1977. She is a PhD student at Dalian University of Technology. Her research is about catalysts with little pollution and synthesis and physical chemistry of surfactants.

Qiao Weihong was born in 1968. She obtained an MSc from Dalian University of Technology in 1994and a PhD from the same university in 2000. Since 1994, she has been teaching and working at Dalian University of Technology. Her main field of research is the synthesis and Physical chemistry of surfactants.

Prof. Li Zongshi was born in 1936. He obtained a BD form Dalian University of Technology in 1960. Since then he has been working in the department of fine chemicals at Dalian University of Technology. His focus is on the synthesis of surfactants and their applications.

Prof. Cheng Lubo was born in 1933. He obtained a BD from Dalian University of Technology in 1955. Since then he has been working in the department of fine chemicals at Dalian University of Technology. His focus is on the synthesis of surfactants and dyes.
