Abstract
SN2C2Cl2 prepared from (CN)2 and S2CI2 reacts with BCI3, SbCl5 and SO3 to yield the 1:1 adducts, TiCU forms an 1:2 adduct. The adducts were characterized on the basis of IR and Raman spectra. SN2C2Cl2 is alkylated with (C2H5)3O+BF4- at one of the nitrogen atoms. The results are compared with adducts of S2N2CO with Lewis acids
