Chemistry International (CI) is the newsmagazine of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). News about IUPAC, its chemists, publications, recommendations, conferences and the work of its Divisions and Committees along with special feature articles is published quarterly in CI.
IUPAC Member Access is available through the IUPAC web site at www.iupac.org, where members can find links that will authenticate access to current CI content. All current volunteers, Affiliate Members, Associated Organizations, Company Associates National Adhering Organizations have authenticated access through the IUPAC website.
CI has a readership of about 6,000, which includes IUPAC members and affiliates, and individual subscribers and digital CI. CI is accessed from all regions of the world and sent in hard copy to over 60 countries.
In recognition of IUPAC’s Centenary in 2019, a new initiative, the Top 10 Emerging Technologies in Chemistry was begun. The purpose is to showcase the value of Chemistry and chemists and to inform the general public how the chemical sciences contribute to the well-being of society and the sustainability of planet Earth.
