Fishman AwardThe Joshua A. Fishman Award recognizes outstanding unpublished PhD dissertations on a topic pertaining to the sociology of language. The award carries a cash prize and a nomination for publication in De Gruyter Mouton's Contributions to the Sociology of Language book series.
