Georg Nold joins De Gruyter as Chief Technology Officer

Georg Nold has joined De Gruyter as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Georg possesses many years of experience at the intersection of digital technology and publishing. In 2002, he joined Springer Nature as IT Team Leader. He delivered digital projects in Berlin, Dordrecht and Pune before moving on to lead the technical development of SpringerLink in London. In 2017, Georg joined Heise Medien, a leading publisher for IT specialist information in the DACH region, as Chief Technology Officer.
As CTO at De Gruyter, Georg will lead the Platform & Technology division and guide the development of the company’s entire digital infrastructure. He will be working closely with management as well as Oxford-based tech partner 67 Bricks to support the publishing house in its digital transformation journey.
