Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies
Our growing Islamic and Middle Eastern studies program ranges from the ancient Middle East to the socioeconomic and religious developments of the twenty-first century. Alongside innovative studies on the Qur’an, we publish works on the legal and philosophical dimensions of Islam, historical
and sociological studies, and treatments of contemporary topics such as the digital humanities and secularism. Our portfolio includes journals, book series, and a wide range of individual titles (in hardback and eBook format, and in some cases in paperback and open access formats).
We want to know! That’s why we travel to dozens of conferences in all fields world-wide. On our conference overview you will find all the places you can currently meet us, including a brand new virtual booth. This not only gives you the advantage of ordering with conference discounts from the comfort of your home, but also comes with interesting webinars, author interviews and meetings with De Gruyter editors.
