The book of Leviticus is the third book of the Pentateuch. The name “Leviticus” derives from the Latin liber leviticus in the Vulgata, which is itself a calque of the Greek name λεν(ε)ιτικόν first attested in manuscripts of the LXX. In Greek, the name λεν(ε)ιτικόν can be rendered with “concerning priestly matters”; as such, it aptly describes the contents of the book, most of which concern ritual and cultic matters.
