Abstract

For the purposes of this document, only the major anionic constituents of wet deposition, i.e., chloride, sulfate and nitrate, will be considered. The objective of this document is to provide a set of recommended procedures for the collection, handling, and analysis of acid rain samples, and the quality assurance of the resulting data. The use of these procedures should result in greater comparability between laboratories and consequently improved reliability in data interpretation.
