5. Anisotropic hyperfine structure

Abstract

In solid-state samples, either single crystal or powder, the hyperfine structure appears anisotropic. The spectra are more complex and more difficult to analyze, as well as the information they provide. This chapter focuses on the relationship between the hyperfine coupling tensor and the molecular structure, as well as on how to get the A tensor from the experimental spectra.
