She researches on cross-discipline aspects of modeling in automation.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Biffl is an associate professor at the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems at Technische Universität Wien and head of the Christian Doppler Research Laboratory “Software Engineering Integration for Flexible Automation Systems”. His research interests include the semantic integration of heterogenoues models in the multi-disciplinary engineering of industrial production systems.
