Aims and Scope

The only journal covering all aspects of librarianship in Germany, contains essays and reports on recent developments and trends in academic and public libraries all over the world. All aspects of librarianship are discussed. The editors are proven authorities in the field, occupying leadership positions in libraries and archives or teaching posts at universities.

Each issue contains sections for general essays on libraries, research and conference reports, practical advice and tips, reviews, further literature, announcements of events and advice on products. Articles are provided with summaries in German and English.
