Ruth Chadwick

Ruth Chadwick is Distinguished Research Professor of Bioethics and Director of the ESRC Centre for Economic and Social Aspects of Genomics at Cardiff University. She has coordinated a number of projects funded by the European Commission, including the Euroscreen projects (1994–1996, 1996–1999) and co-edits the journal Bioethics and the online journal Genomics, Society and Policy (http://www.gspjournal.com). She is Chair of HUGO Ethics Committee, a Fellow of the Hastings Center, New York, and a member of the Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes, the Standing Committee on Ethics of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, and the Medical Research Council DNA Banking Steering Committee.
