Get Access to Full TextThe paper is devoted to the relation between random trees and branching processes for which the number of descendants of one particle has the Poisson distribution. The main result of the paper consists in finding the leading term of the asymptotics of the probabilities of large deviations for the height of a random tree. Similar problems were considered in [1-6].
