    The Hungarian Journal of Industry and Chemistry formerly (until 2012) Hungarian Journal of Industrial Chemistry provides an international forum for the dissemination of original research, interpretative reviews, and papers of new developments. The HJIC is a biannual periodical and each yearly volume contains about 160 pages.

    The HJIC presents the result of applied and fundamental research in the field of chemical and process engineering, energetics, environmental chemistry and material science, industrial management, mechatronics, and recycling in the form of original articles written in English.

    The published papers are abstracted in Chemical Abstracts, Columbus, USA.
