Several misprints and/or lacks are present in the paper entitled “Potential Nb base superalloys”, by F. Saint-Antonin and A. Mitchell (reference above). They are:

  • Page 161, 2nd text column, 4th line of the paragraph “Comparison with the Ni base Superalloys”: the sentence “The difference with Ni is 0.3 for …”, must be replaced by “The electronegativity difference with Ni is 0.3 for …”

  • Page 165, 2nd text column, in the table within the paragraph “BCC structures and Interstices”: the number “0.07”, for C must be replaced by “0.077”.

  • Page 169, 1st text column, 2nd line of the paragraph “Strengthening of the Second Phase”: the sentence “… of the γ phase Ni3(Al, Ti) are …”, must be replaced by “… of the γ’ phase Ni3(Al, Ti) are …”.

  • Page 170, table at the top of the 1st text column: 1st line of the table, the legend of the last column, first line, must be replaced by “Nb Base Alloys” (instead of “Ni Base Alloys”).

  • Page 170, 1st text column, last paragraph of the text, 2nd line of the paragraph: “second phase γ.” must be replaced by “second phase γ’.”.
