Abstract

Storyboarding as a method can be used for the analysis process and also prototypes in user centered design because it is easy to use and illustrations are easily comprehensible. In ubiquitous environments very complex interactions occur and are affected by the either the system's or the user's context. Model-based storyboards can be used to model ubiquitous interactive systems and to derive detailed interaction processes that can be modeled in interaction-Cases. This paper presents a method how storyboards can be used to show context in context sensitive ubiquitous systems and to transform interactions and context from storyboards into context adaptive Interaction-Cases. The process was refined using findings from a user study, which is presented as well.
