    microRNAs in Cardiovascular Researchis an international, open-access journal that publishes original research articles and reviews on the emerging field of microRNAs in cardiovascular medicine. A unique journal in its field, microRNAs in Cardiovascular Research promotes, enhances and disseminates research in all aspects of cardiovascular medicine, including basic cardiac and vascular biology. The Journal encourages the submission of works that describe microRNA implication in cardiovascular disease and development. The journal's content is relevant and interesting to a wide readership, which adds to the understanding and discussion of the emerging field of microRNA in cardiovascular research.

    An explosion of interest in miRNAs is currently occurring. In a decade, more than 1000 research papers implicating miRNAs in different aspects of cardiovascular research have been published. microRNAs in Cardiovascular Research is the first peer-reviewed, Open Access specialty journal in the emerging field of microRNAs in cardiovascular medicine. The journal creates a unique forum for scientists and members of the research community working on microRNA biology and cardiovascular research, offering a unique publication platform to highlight, publish and share new discoveries in the microRNA field.
